Membership Types

This is a league sanctioned by Indiana Soccer (Member of United States Soccer Federation). This is a "CLUB" league and teams must enter through their club. Individual teams may enter the league but will only be accepted as  determined by the Advisory Committee and the Commissioner.  

There are 2 types of members in the Indiana Champions League:

Full Member is a club who commits all U8-U12 players to the developmental league, and supports the other leagues. They obtain the right to vote on all league matters and host league matches. Players can attend PDP trainings at no cost. All clubs Director of Coaching and coaches will be invited to attend coaching opportunities.

Limited Member is a team who is playing in a league independently of their own club. The team does not obtain a right to vote, nor will they be able to host developmental matches. Their players can participate in the PDP program but there is cost.

ICL Membership Application Procedure

Club Application Process:

Any NEW youth soccer club applying for membership in the Indiana Champions League (“ICL”) must complete this entire membership application within all required deadlines. Completed typed (no handwritten material) applications and any additional materials should be emailed to:  Brent Paulson at  bep19@sbcglobal.net 

Each NEW club applying for membership should carefully review the Requirements for Membership to ensure that the club is willing and able to adhere to all of Requirements for Membership.

No Applications will be accepted before the application period opens, and no Applications will be accepted after the application period closes. The Application Period for the 2012-2013 season is as follows:
 

April 1,   2012               Application Period Opens

April 15, 2012               Final Day to Submit Applications

April 20, 2012               Acceptance Notices announced about new clubs.

 

June 15, 2012                 Individual Team applications are due. (Teams not affiliated with a member club)

June 25, 2012                 Club Team applications must be completed online.

July 5, 2012                    Team placement meeting for all Club Directors

July 6, 2012                    All teams notified.

Application Review Process

All applications will be reviewed by the ICL advisory committee based on the following criteria and the completed application:
 

1.  Club’s Player Development Guidelines

2.  Club’s History of Youth Player Development

3.  Club’s History of Success in Elite Competitions, Tournaments and
     Leagues

4.  Club’s Technical Staff

Individual Team Application Process: 
 
The Indiana Champions League does allow individual teams to apply the league. Teams must agree to the all rules and policies set forth by the directors. Teams will only be accepted on an as needed basis. Individual teams will be required to pay the FULL league fee within 5 days of registration. Teams will be placed by the directors at the summer meeting.

Individual Team Applications are due on or before June 15th. It is highly recommended that your team applies early to be considered. All teams will be notified on July 6th, 2012 about their acceptance into the Indiana Champions League.
